Anyone Else Have Serious Juno ISP Problems?

Howdy. Until about April, 2010 I had around 2,500 stored e-mail in very neat, tidy Juno subject folders. Shame on me! Then Juno lumped them all into their own folder called "Restored April 6, 2010".

Since then I've moved or disposed of a bunch of e-mail and was down to 940 until today. Guess what!!! Today they again wiped out all e-mail folders and lumped them into one called "Restored August 19, 2010".

I seriously would like to know if anyone else is foolish enough to have Juno as their ISP? Or has anyone else had problems with Juno in other respects? Thanks. Gene

I had it and had no complaints of any kind, but never saved my emails like that. Most servers like Juno can't handle large amounts of email. I print out anything important and delete my emails after a month or two. I also delete my sent, deleted, etc. every month even now with cable.

I still use Juno mail, even though i have dropped juno isp
years ago..never had any problem with it..you should be saving
the emails you want to your computer then you want have this kind of problem....

I have had numerous purchasing/shipping experiences with McMurray. There were a few problems but they were resolved to my satisfaction. I wasn't happy when they changed their shipping procedures but they were always helpful the couple of times I had problems. It seems like McMurray has done all they can for you. You can still put the roosters you got in the freezer. They aren't as big as the Cornish X but they are edible. So for the cost of shipping (which is what $5?) you have 25 edible birds. It was a mistake which happens to everyone. There are other hatcheries but few of them are as good as McMurray. The only other hatchery I use is Ideal and that is when I just want standard chicks. Ideal is a half day drive away from me. Best of luck with your chickens. The Cornish X's will be yellow and will double in size within a week. You'll be able to tell the rare chick from the others because of the size. I'm surprised about you getting a hybrid. We've been extremely fortunate getting sicilian buttercups. Give them another try. I think you will be happy with them.

I'm afraid I never stopped them, they did their damage until they were through. They just laughed at those products made from putrefied eggs, etc., fwiw. Nauseated me, but apparently not them. If you want them gone now, you need to kill them all. If you can't stomach that (as I couldn't) your only other choice is to live with them until winter, then when they are less active next spring your new KBG will recover. I wish I had better advice, but I don't think there is any. It is a serious problem for the concientious-minded.

Around the first of August several of us here suddenly got terrible outbreaks of blackspot. We had all been spraying regularly, but it just looked like we had been spraying with blackspot spores. We had quite a bit of leaf drop, and it was very difficult to control, even when hitting them with Manzate three times as prescribed. When the weather finally cooled off, it seemed to slow down quite a bit. Now it looks like mine have Cercospora. Big black round spots, but the leaves aren't turning yellow and dropping. I guess it's true - "If it isn't one thing, it's another".

I always hated getting that one back x-ray with the film. It always hurt. But I got through it. Now, they have digital x-rays. There is no film. It's a big plastic thing that has no give to it and hurts like heck. This thing made me cry. It was so painful. I could not even do it. And they kept trying and trying and it was cutting the bottom of my mouth. They made me feel really stupid and were very threatening because they said, well your insurance isn't going to cover it unless you take this x-ray. So here I am in the car crying and trying to find out if anybody else has this problem. Of course I should know by now that if I have a problem a lot of people have a problem. It's never just me. Has anyone experienced this digital x-ray bs? How do I get through this? I asked for a smaller one. they said they didn't have one. They only had one size. I said how can that be when everyone has different sized mouths?

Thanks for your replies. I'm glad you've stayed out of Juno's harm's way. I hope it continues for you. I'll be away from them completely, thank goodness, when I get their the most recent screwup straightened out.

I've not used Juno as an ISP for years. The e-mail retention is one of those old habits die hard things. I'm old and slow. I've been clearing out a lot of e-mail in the past several months (April over 2,500; earlier today 960; and a forced 625 a few minutes ago). I've dropped maybe 500 e-mail that contained very interesting scientific and nature pictures that I enjoyed viewing occasionally.

They're now gone thanks to Juno. If Juno allowed me to retain over 2,500 without a whimper then why did they hit me again when I had less than 1,000? Bye

One thing I don't like about Free Juno now is they put ads in the email. My Sis uses it and it always had an ad or two (URL) in the ad. I clicked on one thinking it was one she wanted me to see, I had to turn off my PC to get out of it.

You can right click on photos in an email and chose "save image as". that may vary with different email software.

I still use Juno email, but never the ISP(it uses IE), nor Juno email on the web. Still as a dial up user, I find it faster and simpler to navigate than any online email client.
