Jean, a model number would have helped assess a bargain or otherwise.

Did a little digging and Walmart have a desktop with those or similar specs refurbished for $248

Thanks owbist. They didn't list a model #....My Windows7 machine is acting up and thought something like this would be handy for a spare, plus learn windows 8.....I'm still using my XP machine for certain software that I can't get for win7.

model p2/1343w. 20" monitor. Just wish it had an available pci slot for wireless card.
