problem with games on PC

I decided to play one of my games that I've had on my PC for years, actually tried 2 of my "7 Wonders" games. The cursor acted like it was floating and wouldn't respond correctly. Don't remember having this problem before. What could be the problem? I have Windows 7. Does something need to be updated? I guess I could uninstall it and install again.

Simplest first. Shut the computer down completely and then start it again - this is not a restart.

Or check the make of the mouse to see if there are any updated drivers available from the maker's site

Or go here and follow along to check and maybe adjust the mouse controls

Assuming it is an optical mouse, change the battery.

\i386\halaacpi.dll could not be loaded. The error code is 7"... That error is usually a bad install disc, maybe clean it, or the cd rom is having an issue reading the disk. So is everything working now?

you may have too many programs running at the same time on your computer. You proply ran out of memory. Try using Control/alt/delete, and quite some of the applications by selecting it and then selecting end task. You will also notice there is another tab in that window that says processes. Click on it and see if there is a high number running on one of the programs. If there is and you do not need the program or action running end the task there to. This will free up memorhy so you can continue with yahoo. Lynn

The best system rn, PS without thinking. However, even though I am a longtime Playstation fan, it feels like Playstation is just getting more and more expensive: games, online subscription, limited storage and now the "pro" variants.
