I really need help with this. If you read my other plea I asked if features on a DVD player like hdmi, 3D and other new technology will work with old television.
I need to get this right and your analysis is important. Thanks

Note: July 28, 2012. As the OP, this post continues on at its final posting site to explain how to connect a new blu-ray DVD player to a 13 year old television. It is a great lesson and worth reading.
