google chrome problem

Out of the blue today I receive a message with an annoying bell ringing saying"...profile could not be opened correctly....features may be unavailable...check that profile exists....and you have permission to read and write its contents.
I had made no changes and have been using Chrome for several years.
How do I rid myself of this message?

Perhaps this concern did not allow the use of Google.

On your behalf I completed a basic Google search using the keywords "Google profile open correctly" (sans quotes). It provided the link below along with a lot of other information.
