problem with printing

I am having trouble with a warning from AVAST (paid version) getting warnings I have a virus etc. Had this before, contacted them, and it went away. They want a screen shot. They sent instructions on how to do it BUT when I printed them out, only 1/2 showed up--as if the instructions started in the middle of the page. How can I shift the written information to get all the stuff.
By the way, I ran all the spyware stuff, inculding AVAST and it appears my computer is ok. This warning pops up for a very short time, I go to more details, it wants me to download Chrome (already have it) and it goes away .

I quit using Avast became of the false positives I got. Now I use MSE and have never had a false positive.

Does the popup say you have a virus, or does the popup say it blocked one?

Maybe when you preview the page look at the drop down box options on the menu bar. You might see what you need. Might not. I cant follow what youre saying above but if I highlight certain text on this page and right click the highlighted area, then choose print preview,, it shows the whole page.. then I use that drop down box to select print highlighted area only... that's what it does. Yes, if all else has failed I would remove the program and start over. Most HP printers seem to require you to start your program install with the printer not even connected to the computer. At a given point you will be notified to connect and the computer tries to recognise the printer and the process moves on to completion. Silly time now but you seem to be running out of options to try. Have you got a Works version created before the year 2000? If so did you install this patch? If not and you do not have it you can download it from here. It is the third option from the bottom. Seems foolish but we never know with these gadgets of ours. I had an unsettling day with my HP yesterday while printing labels. The humidity was causing pages to stick together to get my rankled to begin with. Then the printer would not start the print job. Hmm, checked everything. Eventually I discovered my labels were wider than the allowable settings so a notice popped up advising me. But in an instant the "I am printing" notice popped up covering the first notice and the printer could not start till I acknowledged the error that I was unaware of LOL.

OK, I fixed it but really don't know what I did. Anyway it has something to do with compatibility. Guess I pushed a button a few days ago i shouldn't have.

The popup said it blocked on. They want me to send it but I cannot get copy to send. I do alt and print screen then hold down Ctrl and press V. and then the instructions say to paste it to Paint--that is where I have the trouble.

I get those popups occasionally and I never bother to send them anything. It was blocked, so there isn't a problem.

If you still want to send something, and you can't make that method work, use a screen capture tool, such as Snipping Tool (which comes with later versions of Windows), or some freeware version of it.

Alt/print screen or just Print screen does the trick but CTRL plus V is the paste short cut.

So once you have done the print screen then open Paint, click Edit, click Paste. done. Or similar moves if using a different photo editing program. Never tried CTRL/V in Paint to paste, might work if you click in the work area.
