I often get this message and either choice to click on takes it away, only to come back later.

I've googled and found a lot of the same suggestion. This site seems to be the best. Do I want to do that download?

dont download that

it maybe something you dont want.

Adobe recommends to for most problems to uninstall flash using their tool,, followed by a reboot.. then install new and fresh.

uninstall flash players;
http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninsta ll_flash_player.exe

for firefox and other mozilla's http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win /install_flash_player_11_plugin.exe

for Internet Explorer;
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win /install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe

btw; Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.268 .. these work for both 32 and 64 bit systems now.

RE: Flashplayer Update Service.exe application error

When researching how to correct Adobe 11.3.300.257 with Firefox problems I found Adobe URLs that said to first run a hardware check and then uninstall before proceeding. I didn't understand the hardware check and am waiting for my IT person.

Mikie, haven't done that yet. Think I'll wait to see what Albert's IT guy says.

Albert, you will let us know, won't you. please?

My IT "guy" is my wife - gee, what sexist we have here - and she has decided to buy a repossessed house as an investment so she has told me, in affect, bugger off until I am done with this real estate transaction. So I am plodding through 'issue 2' at Issues : Flash Player 11.3 : Mozilla Firefox and not making much progress.

Spouse is stumped. We've no idea what to do next. We're switching to IE for several applications where we have use Firefox for a few years now.

Sorry to be so long getting back here.

I did not do a hardware check.

Just used a flash player uninstaller. Googled for the one that fit my needs.

Followed that by the installer.

Haven't had that message any since I did that.
