I don't know if or how many of you are up on this new printing technology but as for myself .. "I have Never seen anything like this except maybe on Star-trek"!

They actually 'print' out a 3D adjustable wrench in this video that the guy then uses to tighten bolts with! 8)

This is some truly amazing stuff!

wow technology is just blazing new trails, that is truly amazing

It reminds me of the Jetsons they had that thing in the wall they would tell it what they wanted and poof it would appear, also the replicators in Star Trek

Ha ha, they might make the teeth but you might have to sell your home. Probably costly at the outset. Pretty incredible though

I sent the link to my husband I knew he would be fascinated and I was right he followed all the other related videos from that link and was amazed at what all has been made. He was happily enthralled for quite a while LOL

I heard this at the end of a news show last night have to take a look!!

I keep wondering how that printer knows it is copying an adjustable wrench and that some parts move. I am a little skeptical.

This is either incredible technology or an incredible HOAX !!

 o
RE: Printing In 3D

Here you go Minnie, you can buy your own printer :~)

No prices of course so I suspect our pensions will not cover it.

 o
RE: Printing In 3D

minnie I am with you. Hoax comes closer to describing this than 3D.

Check out owbist's link. Under 'Have a Question?' on the right.

RE: Printing In 3D

Someone I sent the link to confirmed it with Snopes that it was true

But what do they know!

 o
RE: Printing In 3D

oh it is true it all has to do with the scanner they use it is a 3D scanner so it can detect the differences in the gears and and levels of the item.

Some of those other videos are really mind blowing.

to make your teeth though they would need some to scan LOL
so not sure that would work.
