I can totally see 2 chairs and a coffee table in that spot and the idea of a cart is a great one if a coffee bar is a must just remember that a good coffee bar has access to water . Maybe think about converting one cabinet that would allow the seating to be really nice and you can serve the coffe or a glass of wine while you are cooking.

It’s a lovely bonus room for you, but we need more information to generate ideas/formulate a plan. Please post a to-scale room layout with measurements, including the position of the pendant light fixture. Does that fixture raise/lower? What do you need in the room? A bigger desk? Is the current desk built-in? Do you have a preference on the location of your desk? Do you need access to storage near your desk? Will the free-standing wardrobe cabinet hold hobby supplies or is it filled with other items? What kind of hobby furniture/supplies are needed? Can windows be left bare or do you want privacy? Is there a nice view out the windows?

find something w the warmer metal shown in the three above the sink windows. maybe black w the gold? mixing metals is coming on strong and your kitchen is really monochromatic so that might work. Bigger will work too as the view is great and so many windows so worry free about blocking a sight line . You have to browse through the catalogues really with so many options. I like the height where the existing one sits if that matters. I have no clue what you might like but I like all of these....I like the more complex ones as it is a simple nook but yet a destination as the view is such a big deal.... so layering in something like these can actually be a great choice.

Omg! Your house is so beautiful!! The view is breathtaking! The colors are amazing!! Bring some of those beautiful colors indoors! The fireplace is beautiful and unique. Work with it. Add a mediterannean stlye painting above the mantle, accessorize with natural stone pots and tone down the white tv cabinet. You might consider adding a very long sofa table behind the sofa with two lamps and find another place for your floor lamps. A mediterannean style rug runner along the back of the sofa would also look beautiful. If it were my space, instead of spending a huge amount of money on demolishing that area, I would hire a decorator to come in and look at the room to help me make it work :-)!
