Stacking Computers

Gotta rearrange my desk. Can I do this?

I did google it. Got one affirmative answer and 1,730,000 answers that had absolutely no relation to the question.

You should be ok unless you are covering up vent holes on the top of the lower one with that towel and the tower..

BUT you need to place something under the bottom computer to get it off the ground. Even 6 inches is great so that dust generated as you walk does not get sucked in so easily. All dust finishes up on the floor eventually.

OK. Here we have Neat and Not Neat. And, it having been suggested that my house contains (ugh) dust, I will jack up the computer. A couple inches. More would cause the monitor to tilt.
I see I forgot to hang up the wires under the desk - have many hooks under there just for that.

Nothing to stop you turning that dc7600sff on end if you wish. Mine is up on end.
