sorry about your missing buddy.... but i think you made the right choice in selecting your new friend, by choosing the one that ran and jumped into your arms. you'll always be numero uno in her heart. our affenpinscher once wandered off when we were visiting a friend's home. i told my boyfriend that it probably wasn't a good idea to leave our dog off the leash. but my bf was certain that our dog would never wander too far off. well, at some point i looked around and noticed that francis was missing. we called him, but he didn't appear. so then we all divided up and fanned through the neighborhood. eventually we found him, a few blocks away, and he was absolutely terrified by the experience of being lost for those few hours. after that, we're always very careful to be aware of where he is. jehana is a real beauty! keep well! --robbie--

Nicely gleaned FlowerLady. Thanks. Tee hee, Annette. I had to re-read carefully to find the 2 you omitted. Weeding is one of my downfalls, too. The 'bite off more than you can chew' syndrome. I used to covet my neighbor's soil, but after 20+ years of adding compost to sand, am pretty happy with mine. When my time comes, I hope to go down. As in, become fertilizer for the next generation. As for spending? Sigh guilty. Monetarily, no one's gone hungry or without shoes, but there are packets of seeds yet to be sown, ordered in mid-winter dreams. And meal-wise I've been known to dish up an assortment of quickly steamed veggies or a salad with too many ingredients rather than a proper dinner. Spent too much time in the garden. Proposed 12th? I have read a lot on this subject due to my job and there are distinct differences in different generations (though there is always exception to the rule). For instance you have "The Traditionalist" who were brought up to respect everything especially this country. Why so many enlisted in the service - they in turn raised the "Baby Boomers" who rebelled in everyway possible. Yet, they started working at a time when jobs were scarce and they had to fight for everything - especially if you were a minority or woman. They all had a dream and felt with hard work and education you can achieve that goal. They raised the "Gen X" whom for the most part had to raise themselves while their parents worked. They saw their parents live to work and achieve the dream only to see coompanies shut down and their parents loose everything. There have been more suicides in this generation than any. Late Boomers and early Xers are raising the "Gen Y or Why" generation that questions everything. They are the first generation to have lived their entire lives with technology. They have also had the benefit/curse of helicopter and snowploy parents. Those parents that are determined that their children have every opportunity to be more successful then they were and will do whatever is necessary. They have been given more money, material, and time than any other generation and then we wonder why they feel entitled. They are definately bright, skilled, and experienced but don't understand what it means to be at work on time. They hate being told what to do but crave attention and support. They have no loyalty to "company" and they most often quit from boredom or lack of "meaningful" work. They work to live and live to enjoy life. All of that to say we are all products of our environment and most of the trouble comes in the different generations excepting that their way is not the only way. All of this is just my opinion and yes I believe this latest generation lacks respect but somewhere along the line my generation turned respect from being something that is earned to something that is bought and raised this generation accordingly. I have 3 sons the oldest always tried to reason with and the other 2 were just told yes and no without explanation. My oldest doesn't speak to me and my other 2 sons are the most respectful caring self-reliant young men a mom could ever hope for. Coincedence?

Is the profile you found in the correct place ? If so, just use the Profile Manager as I suggested above - that's what it's for. You can copy and paste files in, and it might work, but historically that has led to some problems in Firefox. I have done it though. If you use the Profile Manager, you can be sure Firefox "knows" about a different profile. Are you having trouble with that ? (Btw, even if the profile is in an atypical place it will still be loaded by FF and run fine. I actually put my profiles in a different place that I like to keep them.) I don't quite understand your reply to me, "I took it to finding Firefox profiles if it can't be accessed through Firefox." If this clarifies any, you can't run the Profile Manager while Firefox is running. You have to close FF, start the Profile Manager as is explained in the either of the articles, then choose a different profile as the default. It's pretty easy actually. To start the Profile Manager, in the Start>>Run dialog box, type in: firefox.exe -p
