Thank you all for responding to my post! I appreciate all of your help with this rose bush. I do not think it is sexy rexy because I thought it might be that rose, so I ruled it out when I went to a rose show in my area today and saw sexy rexy. In fact, saw two of them and they were too light and too pink to match my rose. I do think this is a grandiflora rose since all roses are in a cluster. I am posting a couple more pictures of my rose to show how it looks when it starts to fade. (when it fades it turns more pink) I also did a petal count on one rose and count was 43. I also am thinking if it is not Camelot it could be Montezuma. I was looking in some old JP catalogs and saw Montezuma and looked very similar. Does anyone else have this rose or Camelot? I am leaning towards Camelot because the shape of the bush looks just like my mom's 50 yr old Queen Elizabeth. The leaves are very large and this bush is very disease resistant. Well....this has turned into a discussion of pain ted vs not painted furniture.....when the forum is about antiques. To me things that were not originally made to be painted and get painted looks like "early marriage" decorating on a shoe string and if it looks beat up...paint it! And this assumption affirmed by all who says a Duncan Phyfe looks "Fresh and young" painted.... It would be criminal to paint those chairs...And I really think a painted Duncan Phyfe style looks very "improvised" painted....like look....I couldn't afford new....so I painted this! A real wood finish, with a coat of good paste wax....or if you must refinish it a coat of oil based poly is pretty resistant to wet glasses and milk spills.

Have you heard of Leanne Ely's Mega-Mailers? Here's a link... http://www.savingdinner.com/products/mega_menu_mailer_3.html She started out doing weekly "menu mailers" that included weekly shopping lists and recipes that vary seasonally. Pretty much does all the menu planning and compiles the grocery list for you. When I use her mailers, I generally make for 6 and then freeze part of it so I have an "instant meal" when I'm too busy to spend lots of time in the kitchen. She got really popular because Flylady (of Flylady.net) uses her, and Flylady now has over 400,000 subscribers to her free email service. Anyway, Leanne branched out into doing low-carb, vegetarian, all-crock-pot, frugal and heart-healthy versions of the menu mailer, and below-the-equator versions, even (since their seasons are different.) Then after that, she was inspired by those businesses that let you come in and assemble a month's worth of meals at one time, and came up with her "Mega Mailer" series that lets you do the same thing in your own home. I think she has 5 different Mega Mailers to choose from. You might see if the recipes she includes sound interesting to you. She's become quite the expert on helping people eat well while saving time. I haven't tried the mega's myself, yet, but I haven't heard anything but good reviews about her systems.

What a nightmare! This is so ridiculous I'm embarrassed to post it, but I'm gonna do it anyway cause it took so long ;) Clone tool in PSP froze up and won't work. That's a first, and why I have nooo idea. You can see where it did part of the floor and then went kaput. So that's why the floor and back splash look crappy. (I had some nice tile for backsplash and a countertop, but since I can't clone it in I just had to flood fill those areas with color instead, darn it.) Can't remove the white valance, either, so I had to put the new one right over top of the original. Maybe someone with software that's not pitching fits can tweak it, I'm ready to pull my air out with PSP today. Mom's really going to have to use her imagination with this one!
