Need help with Thunderbird

I have my main desk top with Windows 7 so use Thunderbird for my e-mail. My husband now has a lap top with Windows 7. Can I some how get the e-mail set up on his lap top using the Thunderbird?

Casi,

Maybe I am missing your point. Since both systems are W7 and you previously downloaded, installed, and configured TB as your mail client on the desktop you would just do the same procedure again for the laptop.

Hi casi,
I found this and I hope it will help you. I have Thunderbird on my desktop that's getting mail from my Gmail. I just log into Gmail on my laptop...I'm not sure my brain can handle setting up Thunderbird on 2 machines. :)

Here is a link that might be useful: Setting up Thunderbird on multiple computers

PFm, yes that is probably just what I need to know but it looks really complicated for me. Thanks for the link though. I will study it later and see if I can make it work for me.
