Temporarily disabling Windows Mail

I mostly access my email on my desktop, how can I temporarily disable mail going to my laptop, which I hardly use.

If you are talking Windows Live mail then open it on the computer you wish to stop receiving the emails. Then look in the top right corner under your handle and there is a spot to log out.
