Have to forward a message to AVAST-need help

I have been getting the same message from AVAST saying it has stopped a Trojan. I went thru this before, checked everything out, contacted them and they took care of it. Now again, checked everything, notified them only this time they want a screenshot of the message. They told me how to do it, but I either need a new keyboard, the key does not work or????
They told me to hold down the alt key and press the prtScn key and it will go to a clipboard. Then hold down ctrl key and press v key etc.
My question is either the key on my computer does not work (dell keyboard, but not dell computer) and where do I find the clipboard to check it out.
