Hello BearBryant (Roll Tide!) I haven't come across anyone yet with reports of how the Krylon spray product might work. I met one person who planned to use it over a year ago, but when I contacted him for an update, he said his build had been delayed. Since this thread, another HFGH owner posted to the thread linked below. Rtyu said he'd applied the Top Secret TS-100 coating mentoned above, three years ago, and was still very pleased to see no deterioration. You will find his posts close to the end of this thread: HFGH Polycarbonate Panels Failing, Part 2 Between the two products, I'd probably bank more on the Top Secret coating, because it's roller applied, and that will likely allow a thicker and more consistent protective coating than the Krylon spray product. Just a guess on my part, though.

As Bluegirl said, there a lots of methods, probably as many as there are people trying to root things, and they all seem to work for somebody. You just have to find the one that works for you, lol! I've probably tried at least a dozen of them and none of them worked for me either. I came up with my own and so far it's working much better. Not perfect, mind you, but better. I don't think there's any method that works 100% of the time. You're dealing with living things after all and they can be contrary. I use a similar method to what I do with my seedlings. Clear plastic cups with holes punched in the bottom filled with SEED STARTER soil (not potting soil) and out in the sun with the seedlings, no covers. I keep them watered, never letting them get completely dried out, and wait patiently to see roots in the cups. By the time the root structure is big enough to show on the outside of the cups they're large enough to pot up into regular potting soil. I have had the best success with this method and there's no "hardening off" time because they've been outside in the sun and elements the whole time. I lost a lot of cuttings in that hardening off phase so I took it out. Either they make it in the outside world from the git go or I don't want them.

When I downloaded the last updates they emptied my MS Office folders and I found others that had the same problem. System restore would not complete for me, I am sure there were other things affected, because my PC went straight down hill after that. It was a real mess. When I reformatted and set it up I stopped windows update until I had my PC protection installed. Then when I got around to installing Office again MS over rode my settings and installed a few things. I googled MS over riding updates and it said they only do it if an installment needs things. It did it again when I downloaded MS Essentials to get WLM which was fine. So I only have 36 updates on my PC and it is going to stay that way. And don't say my computer was infected because it was not.

Just like Abby, Max still is not eating and hasn't in several days. It is virtually impossible to even get his pills in his mouth and he is drinking very little water. Yesterday and again today he threw up bile, which is a bad sign, and like Abby just lays on the couch. He is so thin, shakey and his back legs are weak. I have decided not to have him suffer through this terrible kidney disease anymore and he will be going to a better place, described in the poem "The Rainbow Bridge," to see his sister Bonnie. I will be taking him on Friday and like Laura, this is the most difficult decision anyone has to make. I call Max my little man, because my other 3 dogs are all girls. I will always remember him as a free spirit, so happy and hyper. I will remember his kisses and cuddling up to me on the couch at night, and his barking at people walking past the house and being so happy with himself when they passed by because he did such a great job scaring them off. He was with me for a wonderful 14 years, and I will wish him a safe journey, and I will miss him forever. Godspeed, my little man,until our journey comes full circle and our paths cross again.
