Tried to register on Landzdown

I have a 1 1/2 year old Asus PC with Windows 7 and IE 10 I believe.

My anti virus is Kazpersky.

I got thru the registration at Landzdown but e-mail is not sending and receiving. It wants a pw which I never have had on it. so I could not activate Landzdown.

Entered and rebooted. Nothing.

My original problem was Windows startup screen would not let me in because it wanted a pw. I use no passwords on my computer. Mt computer is on all the time and ready at the desktop.

I paid a computer technician to break the lock on getting in. It cost me $180. For him to do a thorough check would cost me a lot more. So, now I'm in, ran Kazpersky and wanted to do a thorough check for trojans myself and started with Landzdown. Is there anyone who can help here or at Landzdown?

are you at LzD as SellieS ? you had to create a password when you created your account, that is the password it is wanting. Corrine is going to wait for you to confirm that is you then she will activate you.
Go ahead and try to log on if you can.

lalalandwi: I can understand your disappointment with some sellers on LA. Yes, there are ones as Maximus says who have very high prices for their DL's but I too just ignore those as I would ignore any seller on any site with an extremely high price. Low priced dl's are only low until you tack on the shipping and you have spent more than the daylily was. I check Ebay, LA, alot of the sites mentioned here on GW as well as just googling for a particular daylily I want and see what comes up and then I decide what I can afford to pay. I like to try new sellers since I always seem to find a "gem" worth doing repeat business with. I'm not afraid of sellers in the South as I was once a bit afraid to try. I am still skeptical of California growers but maybe I'll get over that as well one day. I'd post who I buy from on the auction sites but then you might be bidding against me one day ;-). Best advice. Stick to what you can afford and don't get caught up in the frenzy. Good luck. I'm sure you'll find some great buys. friesfan1: If you use an account like gmail, hotmail or yahoo you shouldn't have a problem getting your responses. If your using your ISP's email account, then possibly they are blocking or dumping it in your spam or trash folder. Keep trying. Julia

i take my registers/grates off in the spring and fall and take them outside and give them a good cleaning with the hose. i have found that using a nozzle with a very strong spray (or perhaps a power sprayer if you have one) does an excellent job at cutting through the crud, as well as getting in all of the nooks and crannies. the downside to this method of cleaning would be if the paint were not adhered well to the grate, the pressure of the water could chip it off. but hey, better to have clean paint chipped registers than dirty ooky ones!! :) jiggreen

I have not used it in a long time but there are ways to post links to the pictures that do not require registration. I did not like that either, it is not always easy to figure out how to use them and of course they would prefer that you do register so they make it easier to do it that way. I do have an account there from years ago and remember I could share, here is the info page about sharing. share with a link

I hope things continue to work out for you. I can assure you some members may not be aware of your previous concern. When a chatroom format is used in posting information it can be missed, learning can be inhibited, and help can be delayed. If new information and updates are continued on the same thread it is easier for all members to learn and assist. When new information is posted the thread moves to the top of page one, and all are alerted to new content. I have taken the liberty to tag your original thread so members can get a full read on your concern and subsequent information. Unsubscribing to e-mail material you have registered to is not a bad thing to do. Taking any action on unsolicited e-mail other than deleting is more likely to be a negative than a positive. Hello, I could use email without a password. So could not activate my Lzd. I'm not sure I was clear about that.
Yes, I logged in as SellieS.

I called Comcast and they said I needed to set up a pw and I worked with them.

Never have I had to do that in email and I have been with them for umpteen years.

So, I am OK. Corinne and Raven thank you. I just got my emails and saw your work around that you gave me. I wasn't sure if you all manned the site on the weekends or maybe only to a certain hour.

Thanks again. I will activate the account anyway as I want to be apart of your group. Hope my fiasco will help someone else.

I am sorry the above should have read I could NOT use my Outlook account email without a password thus could Not activate LzD. I am sorry I could not explain my situation better. But, you all were there for me. Still, again I thank you.
