laat2,this happens when I am at a site and a box comes up saying the site needs a cookie allowed to continue. I then click on "allow" and then to allow always for the site and click Allow Cookie. Funny thing is I had to go back to this site and run through the message again so I would get the message correct and I did the steps and again it popped back up BUT this time I actually noticed the reason it kept popping up was that a DIFFERENT cookie each time was listed. Ummm,duh! I assumed it was just the same box popping up over and over but nope I guess it pops up for however many cookies they want to put on my computer. Of course now I'm hoping that they are BAD cookies. LOL Thanks for responding to my post though. Maybe someone else had this happen and maybe they will read my result. :)

I think your experience is common - random websites seem picky about which browser is used and some only work best (or at all) with Internet Explorer.

However, I think life is too short for anyone to spend even a moment of thought or action concerning which cookies one thinks are ok and which may not be. Neither the KGB nor your nosy next door neighbor is involved, cookies are a no-risk element of using a PC that many seem to like to blow out of proportion.

Allow cookies, set browsers to clear history, cache and cookies when closing, and for good measure clear all elements of browsing history manually every few sessions. Then you can spend your time on more important things.
