Everytime I try to do something on my computer a msg pops up asking what program I want to use to open this file and it shows adobe reader 9.0 and internet explorer. What has happened? I am pretty much computer illiterate, so please bear with me....is it something I can fix or do I need an expert? TIA!

I did a restore back to about a month ago and it still hasn't fixed the problem. Should I do another restore to an earlier date? I think I am using Windows vista, that's what comes up when I turn on the puter.

What do you mean "every time I do something...." ? Are you trying to open a particular file or does this occur with any file you are trying to open. Check the link below.
