"Unsorted Bookmarks" is just a folder full of bookmarks. I'm pretty sure you can move them (do "manage bookmarks") into the general bookmarks folder, where they'll be at the root directory and will come up with one click.

Personally I just use the address bar to go to my commonly used bookmarks. You start typing the title of the page and it finds it automatically. It's far easier than looking for them in a list.

June once you click the bookmarks and get the drop down simply click "Show all bookmarks" at the bottom. This brings a new window where you can drag those unsorted favs into the "Bookmarks menu". Once they are all there you can right click on the Bookmarks menu and click to sort by name thereby bringing them all back to the one click you want.

I do like the bookmarks toolbar for my most often used links and it is only about a quarter inch in depth. I shorten all names used on the toolbar so they are all visible, works great for me.

owbist how do you change the names. I looked around and didn't see an option to rename.

Thanks owbist. I am waiting to get an oil change, but will check into it when I get to my desktop. I read about avast being hacked and here I sit using a wifi laptop in a car dealership waiting room. LOL

The Avast site was not hacked, only the Avast forum. I never use it anyway, so not to worry.
