| The battery in my Compaq Presario laptop loses it's power after less than an hour. In searching the net for a replacement battery I found batteries with the following capacities - 4400, 7800 or 10400. The prices range from $35.00 for the 4400 to $73.00 for the 10400. Is the capacity what determines how long the battery will last?
Thanks in advance for your help.

| Yes more amperes capacity last longer. Just make sure its for your laptop model.. you want it to fit the hole and match contacts. |

| I got a great deal from a battery supply store that also has an ebay store, the same battery that was in mine and the price was great, you may want to check ebay. |

| Thanks mikie. The ones I'm looking at have the same exact number as the one that came with the laptop. Thanks ravencajun. I'll check ebay. |
