Typing skipping

Posted by mystic_2008 (My Page) on

I am working on a lap top with Windows 7 and am having a terrible time with the letters that I am typing jumping around on the page. If I don't look at the screen all the time then the letters that I have been writing is some place else. I had a computer geek in the other day, but he did not know what to make out of this. Has any one got any suggestions??? Grace

RE: Typing skipping

I think I read an earlier post that the problem might have something to do with the touchpad. If you can turn it off, do some typing, turn it on and repeat the typing exercise, maybe----- .

RE: Typing skipping

About 99.9% of the time, this problem on laptops is a result of brushing the touchpad. Go into your Settings...often you can set the touchpad to be disabled while typing.
