Abreeze you obviously have an MSI motherboard and the CD will cover all the onboard drivers needed like LAN, sound, IDE and/or SATA. You would use this after installing Win 7. Win 7 will likely have the drivers for your video card then afterwards you can visit the video card maker's site and grab the latest drivers if you wish. This is a separate video card on not onboard? The Win 7 install will no doubt include your LG DVD burner drivers too, you will not necessarily need to install any burning software because that is included with the new operating system. If you use Skype be sure to grab the very latest version otherwise you may get compatibility issues. 4.1.0.179 Bob414 are you saying you created a dual boot system and placed both operating systems on the same partition? Normally one would create a second partition on the hard drive or have a second hard drive. By default when I dual booted XP and Win7 the Win 7 install took control and offered itself, I needed to select XP if I wanted that operating system to boot. With all other software you need to install from both operating systems but have them both point to the same file location on either the C: or D: drive so you access the same stuff from either partition.

I had the same problem with my 8500 - along with a host of other vibrations, panel squeeks etc. I took the top off the machine while it was spinning and noticed that there is a black rubber hose that runs between the drum and the right panel. This hose was banging against the side of the machine. I pulled the hose up snug and no more banging. There is also a styrofoam piece that is loosely attached to the lower part of the hose (below the drum) that may have ridden to far up. This can also cause banging. While you are in there if you will also discover that the electronics board vibrates against the side of the machine during spin. I used some foam weather stripping to secure all the vibrating pieces and finally the machine is quiet. Overall I am less than impressed with the build quality of these machines. I had the Whirlpool tech out (for the third time) and he was going to look for a solution on the electronics board vibrating - however I have not heard back from them in a few weeks. Good luck!

I called Wordperfect and they are refunding my purchase. Wordperfect Legal can easily do legal documents, that's why...plus, mail merges in Wordperfect are a snap! Plus I don't like Microsoft Office's subscription model, and I already have several copies of Microsoft Office on other devices. I spent about 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Microsoft trying to figure out the font problem without success. They took over the laptop remotely and couldn't figure out the problem either. They rolled me back to Win 8.1 and removed the annoying upgrade reminder. mikie_gw - I tried that but nothing happened. Also, I went online and found instructions for compatibility mode, but the instructions didn't match what I was seeing on my computer. The Microsoft lady had to install a program then do a search to find it. Overall, it seems when the upgrade was installed something wasn't installed or installed right. I checked Open Office but read it hasn't been updated since about 2003. I might try LibreOffice. I read it's an Open Office variant that has current support. I think I have LibreOffice on my phone...Installing LibreOffice will be my next adventure... Thanks for the help. Per Microsoft, Win10 won't play well with Wordperfect...
