Have you been keeping your computer free of spyware etc.
When was the last cleanup?? Tried Malwarebytes??????

Delete Firefox cookies and try it again.

There have been board issues this week on a couple of occasions that I experienced. Maybe that's all it was. Did you try browsing somewhere outside of GardenWeb?

I have been unable to access gardenweb since Friday as well. Same thing appears BAD REQUEST. I have a mac. I have no idea how to clean this up, and mine still won't work. I have to use DH comp to ask this ?. Someone, Please Help me figure this out. I can get onto all sites but gardenweb. I think it is a cookie ploblem but don't know how to fix it. I contacted gardenweb but no one has gotten back to me. Grrrr.

Maybe they changed the gardenweb ip and your dns cache has the old.
at the terminal might try;
lookupd -flushcache
or
dscacheutil -flushcache

Plus if you have added a dns cache add on in mozilla browsers,, turn it off.

-- it looks like it is putting too many of these bookmarked things in the header. s_pers is a cookie which is either for ads or for monitoring site usage. I can temporarily solve the problem by clearing my cookies but it comes back. I have written two error reports to GW but have not heard anything. For now I have switched to using Firefox to navigate GW.

PS I just removed s_pers using the "remove cookie" tool in safari (under security prefs search for s_pers and delete it) and I am back in business in GW browsing (temporarily). So it is indeed a problem with that cookie.

I'm having the EXACT same problem that scottfsmith is having!!! I have a new iMAC and it just started happening about 3 weeks after I bought it. In fact it was yesterday that it started showing that ERROR page. The weird thing is...I can get into my forum once, then it shows that error page for all Garden Web forums after that!!

I'm going to try what Scott suggested and see if that helps...but is the problem Safari, The Garden Web, the MAC or what??? And how do I fix it permenently??

All suggestions and advice is really appreciated....
