How Can I Fix This?

Swag Bucks has a small screen with a meter that shows videos. I let this run on my computer constantly when I'm on line. Lately the whole screen will not show. In fact on about 1/4 of the screen is showing. Does anyone know how I can make the whole screen show again?

I'm not familiar with this software and don't want to install it to experiment on myself. However, here are my suggestions:
1) Is there a toolbar that appears at some point when you mouse over all parts of the screen, particularly toward the bottom?
2) If there is no toolbar, does a menu pop up when you right-click on the screen?
3) Can you enlarge the screen by dragging its edges with the mouse as you would to re-size any window?
4) If none of this works, uninstall and reinstall.

Please report back on whether any of this worked or not...

The video screen comes up by clicking on the swagbucks tool bar. I tried to delete the tool bar by uninstalling programs. It's not showing in my programs now but the tool bar is still there. No menu comes up when I click on the screen and it can't be enlarged by dragging the edges. I clicked on "manage your toolbar" on the swagbucks tool bar but I don't see any way to delete it.

If you are going to change out the rest of the wood flooring to the gunstock, you will need to do it ASAP. Most "man made" or "factory finished" floors have a shelf life of 18 months. If it has been 9 months already, you may never find enough of the gunstock to complete the rest of the home. For me, obtaining "the rest" of the flooring is of the utmost importance (if you are still thinking that way). The trim can always be painted. And I for one have no problem with the window trim. It is far enough away from the gunstock to "work". The problem comes when the floor and the molding are "touching" (like in your last photos). I would bet the window trim will be fine...but the floor baseboards need to get some paint on them to get rid of this clash. That's about all I would worry about. But first things first - find out if the gunstock is still available. If it is, then you are SUPER luck and should purchase it as soon as physically possible. You are running out of time to "do more" with this engineered product.

Hey, Ruth-Ann, I love red oak and your wood trim. I don't think you need to replace it at all. We're looking for balance, not obliteration, right? I also have been looking a greys and browns. I am making a bathroom where I used to have a laundry room, and my blue and brown tile turned out to be more grey and brown in my lighting than in the showroom. But it grew on me. It became a camelion, depending on what colors I put near it. And even alone it's so pretty. Here is a discussion about the tile. The work is supposed to start before Christmas, but I don't see any movement from the contractors. https://www.houzz.com/discussions/6088802/help-will-large-backsplash-be-too-seamed-installed The tile has a dark indigo blue in it as well as a moss green that you don't really see unless you try or in the right light. My point is that these colors seem to work well with grey and brown. There's also a lot of white in the tile. It's a sophisticated combination too. Maybe you would like those colors in your bedroom/bathroom? I think sometimes it's helpful to layer colors too by including light and dark, bright and dull versions of our colors. For example: moss green and chartreuse; indigo and French blue; red oak already has layers. We've been talking about including warm and cool colors: grey/white and brown; blue and yellow-greens. To add cool colors is to add blues and relatives, including blue-grey, and cool whites. You just need to pay attention to the blues that you react positively to and incorporate those all over the house... And keep your wood. :-)

Has he just now finished it? Any chance it could grow on you? You said its photographing better than it really looks, but it honestly doesn't look bad to me. I use my home office daily. It can take a beating and I do get things dirty. I have flowers often on my work table, sometimes my lunch (or breakfast). In the evening an occasional glass of wine. Lot of things with ink, printing, pages with colors fresh from my printer - you know the routine. I've had an offwhite antiqued desk the last many years and am currently beginning to explore all new office furniture ;) Tired of using a slightly soapy rag and quickly drying.....and that's after I've moved all my paraphernalia onto the floor.

I wish I had $1 for every complaint I've read about a toolbar problem. I probably wouldn't have to work for a month. They're just not worth it (IMHO) and for 19 years I've never suffered for the lack of having one.

Try right clicking at the top of your screen and in certain spots the toolbars menu list will appear. Remove the check mark from any you do not want. As azinoh notes toolbars are a scourge.

Here is a free toolbar cleaner someone recommended on this site way back, you might find it useful.

Thanks for the toolbar cleaner. I uninstalled the toolbar and downloaded it again but the problem is still there. I contacted swagbucks support to see if they can help me and I'm waiting to hear from them.
I can't imagine not having a tool bar of some sort. I don't think I've ever not had one.

I agree with the other posters that add-on toolbars are the source of many problems, and I never use them. Why don't you just use the normal toolbars that are already available to you, but which you may have hidden without knowing it? What is it you want to accomplish and what browser do you use?

I use the swag bucks toolbar because it provides a way for me to earn a little extra money.

I've found out that the problem is with Firefox because when I use IE everything is fine with the meter. I've always preferred Firefox but I'm now using IE.

I'm curious to know how much "a little extra money" is per month. No amount would be worth it to me...but that's just me.

Not knowing what the goal is with your affinity with toolbars I ask, can this target be met by creating a bookmarks toolbar? Sure would be a lot safer security wise.

If I told you how much money you would probably ROFL. I remember when I worked and made an hourly wage and I wouldn't have done this but now I live off a small SS check so it's a little extra for me. A lot of people do it for Christmas money.
A bookmark toolbar wouldn't do me much good. Honestly, I've never heard of not having a tool bar. I thought everyone had a tool bar. If I was computer smart I wouldn't be here asking questions.

We all have toolbars on our browsers...it's just that they are the ones that come with the browsers; most of us steer clear of add-on toolbars because they tend to mess up computers, cause slowdowns, and are generally annoying.
