Malwarebyte problem

I have tried and tried to get this reinstalled on my computer-Windows 7, gone back and review several postings, installed it, anyway it shows it being installed, nothing!!! It vanished. Nothing on the desktop---Nothing in programs.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Can you locate this file in Windows Explorer?

"C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe"

If yes, then it is installed you should be able to run it. If you don't, then either it isn't installed properly or perhaps you got a rogue program if you downloaded it from somewhere other than the Malwarebytes web site.

When you actually get Malewarebytes you will get an icon on your desktop, and it should be in programs as well, look in control panel/ uninstall programs, if there uninstall and start over.
