Rav-tell her that BOSE stands for "Better Off w/Something Else." I, too, used to have an Acoustimass setup, and liked it for a while. Then I did a little research, and eventually bought some Infinity RS5's and hooked them both up together (Bose on the Left, Infinity on the right), and played some music. OMG, it was unbelievable. There were entire instruments that you could not hear at ALL on the Bose, because of the frequency gap that exists between the Bass module and the cubes. I couldn't believe my ears. That's why you'll never see a display giving Bose the Pepsi challenge. (Not by Bose anyway.) I don't want to sound like I'm slamming Bose, lots of people like them...especially for very small spaces. I'm just giving you my example. As far as receiver & speakers go, I concur with the above posts. I personally have an Onkyo, 3 years old, and still love it. You'll find that not that many movies are produced in 7.1, so you'll be fine with a 5.1 receiver w/DD & DTS. Also, don't be too impressed with high watts/channel specs., the better receivers are concerned with "clean power", not just power. Mine only puts out 75/channel, and it shakes the walls. Still haven't purchased since the date of our move has changed. In about a week -- I'll be ready to buy. Still undecided on which one to get 2688 in blue (is it really worth the extra money to have blue (which is my favorite color LOL ;_) Or, the 2487 in red. I'm leaning now more towards the wild cherry red since it's about $300-$400 cheaper than the blue. One thing I noticed on the LG website is that the red has a painted panel where all of the others have porcelain. Do you know if this matters? I know that the painted top vs porcelian top is said to show scratches more easily. not sure if panel is the same thing. I'm going to email LG and see what they say. Does the spin cycle of 1320 vs 1200 really make a huge difference? Any other input on which one I should get would be much appreciated? THANKS! Thanks for the responses so far! Greg, the Trivection ovens are the same size as the standard convection ovens. Yes, the Advantiums are considerably smaller, which is one reason I'm not interested in them, but the Trivection and Thermadors are not. The Thermador and Trivection are both 4.4 cu ft. Houseful, we start demolition mid-Feb to mid-March, depending on when our contractor's current projects finish up. Then, I'm told, it will take about 8 weeks to complete our project--but we've all heard that before! :-) If it's done by July I'll be happy! Imrainey, I assume your Thermadors were b/f Bosch/Siemens bought them out...I wonder if anything has changed reliability-wise? Does anyone have any experience w/the new Thermadors? Noise? Reliability? Are the CM-series of ovens the "old" ones that had widespread reliability issues (i.e., b/f Bosch/Siemens bought out Thermador)? GE Profile Trivection owners, do you find the GE Profile has "plastic" parts...I read somewhere a while ago on a GW forum that Profiles had plastic where Monograms had metal...is this true? I would think plastic would melt w/high heat so it doesn't really make sense to me...unless they were talking about handles or other outside trim pieces... Lsandler & other GE Monogram owners, are the handles plastic? I wish the ovens came with the "chunky" handles, but the Trivections don't seem to...just like they don't seem to have the full extension glides or self-cleaning racks that the other double ovens (convection) have :-( Any info greatly appreciated!!!

Neither is going to grow so many feet and then remain frozen in size, of course. And size representations coming from commercial sources in particular tend to be for what is believed to be representative or typical development - after comparatively short periods of time. So if a kind gets 5 ft. tall, chances are you are going to see it 7 ft. tall at some point. Its finer textured, fuller, more compact form lends itself to use in smaller planting areas and gives the height as 5-6 ft. Add another foot of growth and you're at 6-7 ft. When I've seen it at outlets here the 'Bailhalo' had a quite apparently more dense appearance, which could easily be seen as a superior attribute.
