IPhone pics always upside down...

IPhone is the only 'Apple' I use and use the camera often. Many times when I post a photo it is upside down. I have used Microsoft Picture Manager to rotate it properly, but when I post the photo it shows upside down.

On the Apple forum they blame Microsoft for not reading some tag. Whatever.....does anyone else run into this? I miss my Blackberry.

If your posted photos are always upside down, I have a guaranteed solution. The next time you're about to snap a photo that you'll want to post:

1) Prepare to take the photo and hold your phone the way you normally do

2) Pause for a moment and rotate the camera 180 degrees

3) Take the photo. You'll find when you post it, it's not upside down.

Jerry, They look great. I didn't know you were doing that. All of my tomatoes this year are in raised beds in cages. I have been thinking of ways to do the same thing next spring except in five gallon buckets hanging from my cucumber trellis. I just like to play with stuff. I like the pots you use because it adds a decorative effect to the whole thing. We did pick and eat our first (two) ripe tomatoes today. They were great. Why is my monadenium growing upside-down?

I have a very similar plant that lost its growth point, and the stem has turned to wood. It has one branch emerging in the middle at a right angle. It is growing very long, and I have to support the branch by leaning it over nearby pots. I think yours is Monadenium heteropodum. I'm using an iPad - the original not a newer one with camera. The pictures posted above- the first one at 11:12 are upside down for me and the second ones at 11:14 are right side up. Strange that even iPad users are seeing them differently. I even rotated my iPad and the pictures still stay the same.

Need advice - crown molding on cabinets were installed upside down

This is how a lot of cabinet company’s do moldings for full overlay cabinets. The mounting strip attaches to the box, and the molding dogs into the mounting strip. Simple. And he messed up simple. The MS isn’t even clear coated. Just stained. It’s totally obvious to anyone that it is not a meant to show finished piece. Seriously, check his other work. I can already tell he has adjusted the doors incorrectly. There is probably more. More than just the faceframe has nail holes that can’t be filled. He installed the crown itself upside down. Meaning all new crown. The spring angle should have given him a clue here. This is complete and utter cluelessness of basic carpentry. He is no “master”.

Thanks for the links Zep. I did check those and that's where they talk about tags which Windows doesn't read. The recommendation is to use Picassa which I don't know how to use to post photos here.

Snidely, I have tried that many times. It doesn't work. It seems the way the picture comes into the computer is 'willy-nilly.' Sometimes its correct, other times its sideways or upside-down. Even when I correct using MS Photo Editor, it doesn't correct the problem. The photo looks right on Photo Editior, but when I bring it into GW, it rotates again. Very weird, I've never had this happen before.

I'll have to learn Picassa.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info given. The only fix I could find was to use Picasa. I load the photos and they are automatically straightened. Then I 'save' to My Pic Folder and they are correct. Its a pain, but I agree, Apple needs to fix this.
