Google Bookmarks problem

Last year when I had a portion of my bookmarks added to Xmarks, I received a notice about them shutting down so I went to Google Bookmarks.

I categorized hundreds of bookmarks into many section folders under one list folder. As of a couple weeks ago I can't open it!

I tried deleting cookies, deleting cache, halting script debugging on my computer & using Internet Explorer or Firefox (diff versions ea) on 3 comps. But each time I get "Loading" at the top of the screen & nothing happens.

I tried exporting but they have to be uncategorized bookmarks.

Help!

xmarks never shut down it was bought and is still going strong and working as good as ever.
Never used google ones so can not help there.

I found that out just after I transferred everything. I was so frustrated at that point that I didn't want to transfer everything back. :-(

I would start out by doing a system clean, temp files etc then run a couple of anti spyware utilities like SuperAntispyware and Spybot search and destroy. I assume you have an uptodate antivirus program on your computer???

Just a follow up on this problem. I still had the problem with Google in FF, it would not search so I did a system restore to a November date. When I got it updated again and things in order, the tabs were on the top again. I checked view before I went to the site DA recommended, low and behold the option "tabs on top" was there. The mysteries of the computer!
