| I have Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. I can scan a picture on my HP 3200 and then when I make the scanned area fit the picture and use "Finish", the HP Scanner just sits there as though it wants to scan but never does. This used to work but it doesn't now. Does anyone have any ideas?

| Do you still have the manual for the scanner? I assume this is a stand alone flat bed scanner? Might pay to remove the scanner program then re-install but check the manual to see if it is like the printers where you should not connect it to the computer until the program prompts you. Possibly a corrupt file there somewhere. |
