| We have 3 computers. All are set to MSN for the home page. This morning MSN won't come up on 2 of the computers. The other is just fine. It seems like everything else is ok with the computers, they just won't load MSN. Any idea why this would be happening? |

| It seems like everything else is ok with the computers, they just won't load MSN. So what page is loading if things are alright? |
| The home screen comes up blank on both computers. It says MSN in the address line, but the screen is blank. I have not ran any scans yet, but will do that soon. |
| Run these scans, as they will remove hijackers, First Download AdwCleaner from link below, Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool. Right click in the adwCleaner.exe and select "run as adminstrator" 1 Click the Search button. 2 A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished. 3 Please post the content of that logfile in your next reply. 4 Or you can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[R1].txt. Next Download & Run--> junkware-removal-tool. Follow directions at the link provided. Your Anti Virus will say this is malicious. Disregard and download it. Post the log file please. Joe |

| I discovered MSE hadn't run for a while, so I ran it and then MSN came up. Apparently MSE fixed it! Thanks! |
| It's not going to hurt to run those scans, if you have time, they may clean up things you don't even realize you may have. Joe |
| Since I have never used MSE and it is a suite I have to ask, does it clean cookies? My first thought was that site cookies had expired on the two systems. DA |

| MSN changed their home page I believe to nbcnews.com or some such. A craft forum I am on people were complaining about the MSN home page not coming up and someone said they now changed to that. Then today was at a friends and she has paid MSN and said she was able to do something to re-direct it back to the old MSN page when she opened her borwser or some such so it's not just you. Mary |

| my concern here in this thread is that you stated your MSE has not run "for a while" Why? it should be set to run regular, why hasn't it been running? That would be my major concern. You need to get that sorted out ASAP. Is it getting the daily definition updates? Done a malwarebytes scan recently? |

| What is MSE? |
| What is MSE? Microsoft Security Essentials. A free Anti Virus program. Joe |
