I Get the Scrolling Circle, Everyone Else Gets Right In

Hi -

There is a specific company site that I need to get to for a job search. I click through the first few steps, and then get to a screen where I have to click "I Agree" to accept the terms. I consistently get the little scrolling circle and cannot get beyond it.

I've had other people try and it works fine - they advance to the next screen immediately. So - it's clearly my computer. I don't seem to have that problem on other sites.

Any thoughts as to what could be causing this and what I can do?

Thanks -

Suzieque

It could be a toolbar, a pop up blocker, browser cache...possibilities are endless. Which browser are you using and is it the same browser that others are using to access the website?

I'm using IE10. Not sure, but the others may be using IE8.

It's not a pop up blocker, and I've cleared the cache.

That is a really advanced version of IE, have you contacted the webmaster of the site to confirm compatibility? There may be a specific security setting that needs to be enabled/disabled. Are you using a proxy server?

I'd suggest trying via another browser. Do you have another browser on your computer? This is one of the occasions where it is handy to have a second browser loaded and ready for those instances where it 'could be' a browser issue on 'your' computer.

Good point about IE10. I don't have another browser but will get one and try it. Thanks, all, for your help.
