I think the text layout and the pic width being too large or not, is largely computer display dependent. My wide screen display with my display settings (within Windows) set at 1680x1050 with the above photos at 1000px wide, don't mess with the text layout for me. So, the same things will look different from computer to computer, but when possible it's always a good idea to try and make things so they don't cause layout or viewing problems with most people's computers.

Locate the picture you want to send and select it with a single left-click. Don't open the picture. Now, use a single right-click and find the menu item which says SEND TO...MAIL RECIPIENT. If your default mail program is configured properly, it should start a new blank email message and should automatically ATTACH your picture to it. You won't see the picture but you should see a message that it is ATTACHED. Then enter the email address and send it. If you still have a problem after this, the possibilities are: too many pics being attached to the same message you are exceeding the size limit for file transfers imposed by either your ISP or theirs your recipient doesn't know how to save the file attached to the message and open it.

as Owbist said system restore is a very simple easy to do thing and is not to be scared of, nothing like reformatting at all it just takes your pc back to the date you choose and it is totally reversible if you see that it did not help just tell it to reverse it. YOU must enforce these rules with her now or simply refuse to allow her access to YOUR pc. If she can not treat it properly she should not be using it. NOT removing a usb item using that properly remove icon can damage your pc badly and it can RUIN her dear precious ipod. So if she likes that ipod she had better learn now or she will be holding a doorstop one day instead of her ipod. AND I would with out a doubt set her up a limited user account and allow her to ONLY use that account on the pc, set up all your admin accounts with passwords that she would not know so she could not gain access to them. Did you try using other usb ports and a different cable? That's an interesting option. This particular problem though occurs as FF starts up (before it even opens tabs) so I think you'd still have a dup task problem. I use toolbar folders to open frequently used URLs without cluttering up desktop with deskcuts. I forgot to mention to also check any entries on the toolbar which start up FF tasks. These could also be culpable. I just disabled and re-enable all toolbar entries which use FF. So far so good. Funny this problem hasn't more documentation out there - it's really aggravating!
