Password protecting usb drives

I have some usb drives that came with password protected folders, now that I have Windows 7, they don't all work. Is there something that I can install on any usb drive that will work with windows xp and 7
I did some searching on this topic but not sure what the best solution is. I'm looking for something where I can type in a password and have access to the files and folders.

I'd suggest going back to the manufacturers of the drives you already own and reading their support pages to see if they have any information about Windows 7.

I checked. They don't support windows 7. Would there be something other than what came with the drives that would work?
