Error messages upon restarting

I have had my Toshiba laptop for about 1.5 years. It runs on Windows 7, and the browser is IE.

Every day, I get a message that says "Restart you computer to finish installing important updates".

And, every day, after restarting, I get the following 3 pop-up error messages. The error messages all start the same with

"There was a problem starting C:\users\user\appdata\roaming\

then one of the following:
pcspa\dll
onexfs\dll
oeacf\dll

All 3 pop-ups end with "The specified module could not be found".

From what I can tell, I "think" this has something to do with installing Windows 8, but I'm very computer illiterate.

What should I do to resolve these issues?

I want to get Office for Home & Student, but I don't want to install anything if there's a serious problem that I need to resolve first.

I've also have seen this message: "Update to Kernel-Mode Driver Framer", but not lately.

Run the Windows up-Date fix it first. In the link provided click the run now tab, see if that fixes the up date issue.

Those dll's make no sense either. Could you run a scan with Malwarebytes and post the log

Did you install Windows 8 ?

No, I didn't install Windows 8.

I tried to run Microsoft Fix-It, but got an error message:

Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occured.
We're sorry, but the program encountered an error and cannot continue. Please try again later.

I on't have a clue how to go about running a scan with Malwarebytes and posting the log.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop click Here
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

1 Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

2 If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

3 Once the program has loaded, select "Quick Scan", then click Scan

4 The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.

5 When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

6 Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

7 When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)

8 The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

9 Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediately.

Make sure you download the "Free" version and not the "Pro" version.

As an additional thought to item #1: uncheck the check box for "Enable trial version of Malwarebytes Pro".
