Macrium Reflect File Extensions

Posted by threas (My Page) on

As recommended on this forum, a couple of years ago, I backed up my files onto discs from Macrium Reflect free edition . I cannot open the files to read them. I just did a system recovery from the computer files, so I don't want to put unnecessary stuff on my computer to read the extensions. What would be recommended?

Thanks, Theresa

What is the extension? Is it .bak

When you said you backed up your files onto disk are they the files you created like .jpg, .txt. .doc etc.

If they are back ups of system files, you're not going to need them anyway, cause the system has already been recovered.
