nextbook 10.1 with windows

I am brand new on here and I am having a very difficult time. I recently got a Nextbook 10.1 tablet with windows and it has been working okay, (I am not very good with them). Now all of a sudden I can not use the swipe feature and the tap feature on my tablet. I have to use the built in mouse because it came with a keyboard. I am sure I have to go to settings or something but I don't know where to begin. Hope someone can help me. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

My son has a different next book tablet. In case you didn't get any documentation for tech support with it here is their website for support. The few times we had to call tech support was pretty decent helping to solve something. I am surprised you didn't get any info with it directing you on how to get support and a phone number to call them because my son did with his. They also make a tablet under a name call Eviant because my friend has that one. Mary

I did go there initially, but their troubleshooting section does not list anything on there like what I am having trouble with and it does not or at least I cannot find a number to call. I don't see any other options.

Window in MBR Closet?

Our home has a double window in the MBR closet, with a drawer unit below that makes a type of bench. We keep our grandson, and that bench has been our changing table. The windows are covered with faux wood shutters allowing us both privacy and light when we need it. I can't see any fading of our clothes, but then we are the faded jeans kind of folks. We had this same arrangement in our last home and copied it for the plan of this one. That deep, wide drawer unit is where we keep shorts and the sort of t-shirt that doesn't need hung on a hanger.

Thanks for the posts...I'm going to try the wood windowsill if it works out. My cabinet maker/trim guy just told be tonight that I should be there for install of the window trim because it might not be the look I want. The problem is that my cabinets are supposed to meet right up to the window casement, so I don't know if the sill is going to fit right or not?!?! Hope that makes sense, I guess it may be too wide. I hope it can work as I have decided it is the look I'm after!

Hey There: If you spend the money you better do it right. I suggest bottom up top down shades for each unit...the ones that have no header or strings across the glass. They can also install directly to the door panel and fit behind the handles. Check it out here on Houzz or visit us online at www.fenstermann.com
