I'll try to make it stronger in the next revision, probably using the 640 X 480 pixels size as a maximum (unless someone has a better suggestion). Of course, these are just recommendations, and people can't be forced to abide by them. I don't want to make the process onerous, I'd rather someone just get a photo posted for the first time even if it's really big, and then the next ones can be posted in a more suitable size. try Right clicking on the Internet Explorer 8 Icon then click properties. Click the down arrow next to Run to select maximized. click apply to save the change. it should be automatically maximized when you open it. another way to do it is to open the Ie window use those arrows to drag it out to max, get to the desired size, then do file -> exit. It should then startup at that size from now on. Do NOT close it by clicking the red x you must use the file , exit close. (or Click the big E at the very top left of the IE screen. Click on Close.)

have you changed the font size in firefox? that happens a lot when you change to a larger font size than that website is set up for, try going into your firefox settings and change your font size to a smaller size and see if that changes it.
