ok lets see if I can tackle all this LOL yes you can change up the items and names to simply just have the favicon for the site there, just go to that one on the bar and right click on it then choose properties there you can change the name, eliminate the name or just put an initial what ever you want. If you have several that deal with one subject like news for example create a folder on that bar and move all the news related ones into that folder, which will give you more room. Tab mix plus the add on will give you a lot of options too. To change up your "chrome" as it is called like I did on mine so I only have 2 bars and no empty space, go up to the top and click on view> customize> and once that has opened then you can drag stuff around from bar to bar and move things where ever you want to, it is very similar to unlocking the bar so you can move it freely. you can do away with any buttons you do not need by just dragging them off the bars and into that box that opened when you hit customize, I also used from that box the smaller icons so I could fit more. I never liked having my bookmarks in sidebar and have not messed with it. I do think there are some specific add ons for that though. what you can do with your screenshot is upload it to imageshack then from there you can get the forum code for the thumbnail to post here so it will not take up much room, the code you want will have the Clipboard is where your computer saves things when you click on copy then you go some where and hit paste and it posts it from the clipboard. With fireshot once you click on the big red S and capture the pic you have options at the top of what to do with it, one upload that will upload it to a web server and give you the code for that picture to post here in a forum, Save click that to save the picture to your pc this is a good option just put it in your pictures folder and you can always find it. there are many options, but with fireshot I believe you can only capture the open page not the actual browser itself. Even when choosing full page it only captures the open page in the browser. so you will probably want to just use your screen print button that is on your pc. Up on the top row of buttons is the Print Screen button just click on that and it saves it to your clipboard, open your photo editing program and paste the pic in there, then you can save it, Also an easy way to do it is to open an email and click paste in the email and it will add it there, I do that sometimes and just email it to myself especially if I will be needing it on one of my other computers since I can access my email from all of them.

Adding the tip to the credit card provides more info to the tax man regarding the actual income of the employee. Cash can be spent on necessities instead of declared as income.

I will not tip for lousy service, period. When service is terrible, they get the insult tip (a penny) or just plain no tip. It's their JOB to give good service. They know that superior service will usually result in superior tips and having someone ignore me, not give me a chance to get what I want, well no way will I tip for that. Start taking pride in your work folks. And yes, I've worked in restaurants and other service businesses. Just today I stopped for lunch and the service was not good. This place has really gone downhill in service in the last years, but their food is so good. I know I SHOULD be sending a tip to the cooks and occasionally I will. They deserve it too. But trying to get a refill on water, an extra napkin or even an insincere is everything OK? makes for a bad dining experience and it will affect their tip. If you tip for bad service, you reward them for not doing their job. And that's wrong. If my kids or I have a service job, we know the rules. I've seen places saying there's a charge for parties of 6 or more. It never specifies it as a tip though. I suspected that part of it was because large parties "party" and take longer than a normal diner would and ties up income potential. Need to inquire on that next time I see it. One thing I've wondered about is on food deliveries, like a pizza, there's a delivery charge. Who gets that? Is that a fee/tip that goes to the delivery person? I've been meaning to ask. I always tip well, but don't like being double charged. I know some places added a fuel surcharge and don't blame them when gas was $4/gal but would like to know what I'm paying. To go 2 blocks and pick up a pizza might be worth $5.

Bmorepanic, Thanks you for your help once again! Your design is good. I can see many excellent features in it. It reminds me of some of the two island designs we played around with, but with one bigger island. The flow between dining room and kitchen would be wonderful with your plan, which was one reason we resisted a peninsula for so long. However, I am now too happy with the L plus big island concept to let go of that idea. I am not bothered by the peninsula between kitchen and dining room (although shorter is better). I like the idea of having that block of the peninsula when I am entertaining and we are dining. I also really, like the idea of doing dishes in the peninsula spot more than against the wall (as you know I am not happy against a wall -- too jumpy for that -- wall spots are good for DH though). From the peninsula, I can chat with those at the dining room table, take in the fireplace, watch TV or look out (from a distance) at two large windows and a set of french doors). I can even see my younger kids on their climber in the backyard. When my teen son understood he could watch TV while he washed pots he suddenly was keen to do dishes -- priceless! Watching my neighbour on his deck out the side kitchen window does not have that much appeal. Also, by the time we do dishes it is often dark outside so you can't see anything out a window anyway. I see your issues with the DW around the corner. LOL about the bumps and leg jabs. I could see myself with some bloody legs, so, thanks to you, I am not going to place the second DW around the corner after reading your comments. I have it in the latest design (see below) as two DW together which allows a shorter peninsula than if we put one on each side of the sink. The reason for this is I would not want one DW right up against the corner which would block the storage above. I can imagine no time when we would be organized enough to be loading two DWs at the same time. I imagine one would be full running through a cycle or be in need of unloading, while the other was in receiving mode. So for me two side by side does work. I do appreciate the time you have taken to think through my kitchen with me! Below is the newest version. I think we might consider making use of a cart for distribution of groceries to their various corners, and even to help unload dishes to the glass cabinet. When entertaining, we could also clear the table with a cart. I realize that our DWs are not close to glass, bowls and small plates storage which will be in the glass cabinet. However, the benefit of having the dishes close to the snack zone is worth the hassle of unloading. Just can't have it all in a 20 foot long kitchen! We also plan to make use of a Kornerking drawer/lazy susan device in the corner for baking/cooking ingredients combined with a easy reach L cabinet in the upper corner area for food as well (not snack food). I went through a very long list of typical kitchen jobs and assigned each an area for completion so I can figure out what to store where (and hence make progress on the size of drawer, shelf, etc to incorporate). I was able to see that most of our kitchen tasks will not require too much walking and zones will not cross too much. If you see any other tweaks, please let me know? Carol
