Free online calendar?

I don't have a second person in the office any more to provide a "checks and balances" for me, most especially to double check that I recorded our "critical dates", court appearances, depositions, appointments, etc., and that I know well in advance when they are coming up. I've been messing around with Yahoo! calendar for a week, I like that it sends me email reminders at interval periods, but it only seems to record on the hour, I can't make an entry for say, 9:15 or 11:45, it has to be 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.

Plus, I entered all of our appointments for next week. They show up fine on the screen, but when I print the calendar out, the times are all screwed up. A 10:00 a.m. appt on Monday morning printed out 2:30 a.m.! A 1:00 p.m. status conference printed out 12:30 a.m.!

Can you recommend a free online calendar service you like? That will send reminders to my email address when I schedule them?

Have you looked at Google calendar it is pretty extensive.

A friend installed iCalendar and was very pleased with what it was capable of. You would need to experiment of course to see if it met your specs but there is always the uninstall option if it is not what you need.

Marti, If you go to the Texas A&M website PlantAnswers, there is a gardening calendar for the state. I find it to be accurate (except for this rather strange year!). I am sure there are others, but this one is good. Central Texas Gardener magazine offers an on-line calendar, but it may not cover your area. Try plantanswers.com, at the very bottom of the page is the calendar, and see if it meets your needs.

I thank you also, my little desk calendar ends tomorrow and since I have been home sick I did not pick up a new one so I am now printing out just a plain monthly one from that site to use till I get one.

I was gonna say that's what I use, my phone calendar. My phone shows an icon the day before to remind me of something the next day then beeps 15min beofore the time I put in on the day of. Of course if my phone dies then I will be lost. Mary

Google has a nice calender as part of Gmail. It does accept "minute" entries (although you have to actually enter the number rather than choose from the 1/4 hour intervals offered).

There's a bunch of ways to share calender(s) or event(s) with multiple people.

If you have a cell phone, Google will event send you an SMS reminder and if you have an Android phone, events will automatically sync.

I just installed fox reminder .. for me it's great, every time I log into firefox a little screen comes up for a few moments and tells me what's on the sched ahead..

It's a add on so I can del if If I didn't like etc ... check it out
