I would have to disagree about rabbits being solitary creatures. I beleive they do enjoy some interaction, but your is probably getting some from the duck, even if they seem to ignore each other. I will say that nuetering him would be a good idea. I have a female Holland lop. We got her spayed before she was a year old. She kinda went crazy when she went into her first heat - lunging at us when we would feed her, grunting at us, pulling her hair out (to make a nest etc). All of this behavior stopped once we got her spayed. She is over all a more well adjusted bunny. Hell, I wish I could get rid of my hormones now and again. She is 4 years old now and when people meet her they say "Wow, she is so relaxed and sweet, most rabbits are so skitish". I truely believe this is due to getting her spayed. A friend of mine rescued to male bunnies a couple of months ago. We have no idea how old they are, the vet guessed in the 2 year old range. We got the first one nuetered a few weeks ago and have seen an instant improvement in his temperment. Now we just have to get the other one nuetered so they will stop having pissing contest, I swear they try and see who can spray the furthest. On that note I will say it sounds like you are doing just fine by your bunny. I worry more about bunnies that are out in an outdoor hutch all day with NO interaction what so ever with animal or people. But if you did decide to add a friend (which I just did 3 months ago) I would recommend nuetering your male and adding a spayed female. Male and female sets tend to bond better. But even then it doesn't always work out. I am thinking next time I am going to work out something with a rescue group where I can "test drive" bunnies until I find one that clicks with my current bunny. I am not sure that our princess (read spoiled brat) is ever going to bond with the new friend I brought home. Currently she just turns her back on her or thumps her feet and runs off. We'll see Kat

Yes, it's spam and it's called spoofing as mentioned. While it's not technically "dangerous" to open them, you could be asking for more spam by opening it. Often they'll put in a little code to tell if you've opened it and that verifies the email address. A verified email address is worth much more than an unverified one in the spamming world. Not unlike a known telephone number is worth more to a telemarketer. When you get this stuff, delete it, or pay the price. OJ, sometimes people will do the right thing and use BCC when they send mail to multiple people. They usually put their own address in the "To" field and "BCC" the others so addresses will be hidden. It's the right thing to do. Now that doesn't mean that it's *not* spam though! :) People who send to everyone in their address book and not BCC, and also the people who just forward hoaxes and other junk should have their computers confiscated.

maifleur, I don't think you're stupid but sometimes you are misinformed and a bit stubborn about it. Telecommunication and infrastructure investments are all about population density and population levels. Another example of that was how rural areas were so late in getting electricity in the 20th century compared to many urban areas that had it many decades sooner. Today, if you want high speed internet and cell phone coverage, living in a rural area is a choice unlikely to be helpful. "Tracfone buys their feeds but so does every other carrier" Very much not true for the larger carriers. Both Verizon and AT+T operate their own networks (mostly, not entirely) and several of the smaller ones do also, in large part. If not, why would there such wide differences in the coverage maps? "People live where they have homes." People usually live where they have employment, not where they have homes. Are you suggesting that someone who owns a home in a 4 house town in North Dakota is going to stay there unemployed rather than move somewhere they can get a job they're qualified to do? I don't think so. I do remember Roaming charges. I even had that happen not that many years ago when I was up in the Sierra foothills in an area that had some little podunk cellular carrier. When the charge appeared on my bill, I called Verizon and they reversed it. The "R" symbol always appears when I use my smartphone abroad because its connection to a non-Verizon system is a form of "roaming".
