New grandson

Our new grandson arrived Saturday at 4:12pm. He weighs 8 lbs 11 oz. His name is Lucas Colin(like Collin Ray, not Colin Powell). Not sure of his length yet.
Mom, Dad and baby are doing fine. Gramma is still exhausted!

| Joyce- I'm exhausted from watching the other 3 kids. (16,11 and 2) The storm woke them up in the middle of the night so they all had to camp out on the living room floor where I was sleeping on the couch! haha |

| Congrats Grams and the whole family. I can see from the slight smile he has that he is dreaming up neat ways to wrap grandma around his little finger. If the thunder was as loud there as it was here, I can see why those children all wanted in one room. We couldn't find our cat until after noon. She is terrified of the thunder and hides under the bed. Hope you get some rest soon Judy. |

| Judy-I can relate to that with our 6 year old and 18th month old running in and waking me up, so grandma can play with them. Ha! Lucas is such a handson little guy. Congrats again. Joyce |

Thanks everyone. I am rested up. It's been a crzy summer. we had a big picnic here last month for both sides of our families. When that was over our son started building a deck on the backside of our house. Then came the baby and now our son is building a platform for our new pellet stove to sit on. Should help with the fuel bills this winter.

| I hope that you are enjoying the new grandson Judy! I will be getting another grandchild in 2009. I already have 2 grandsons, one 8 years old and the other is 3 years old. The 3 year old will be getting a brother or sister next summer. |

| Congrats to you too. We have 16 grandkids and so far no greats. Not sure how someone as young as me can have that many! haha |
