| I keep getting an update notice wanting to update this program. I never downloaded this..'Search Enhancement Pack'. I attempted to download the 'Pack', and was advised unable because I didn't have SP2. I have SP3. Curious why MS would want to update a program I don't have. This started when I downloaded Windows Live. Any help please...thanks cranston |

| The solution for my XP machine was to move the folder "Microsoft" from Program Files to My Documents. Microsoft is the folder that is being opened at Startup. The only contents of my Microsoft folder was the "Search Enhancement Pack" folder. Moving the Microsoft folder prevents it from automatically opening at Startup. Problem solved! |
