Some smart@ss in my family put the Lady Gaga documentary at the top of the queue. Doesn't hurt that we like Lady Gaga, but sheesh, its not even in Blu-Ray. first off i must say, i LOVE my tivo, couldn't imagine living without it. for movie rentals though, i use my digital cable service with the "on demand" movies. it costs 3.99 for a movie and the movie can be watched any time in a 24 hour period. (this works out well if i order a movie at night when my husband is at work and he can watch it the next day while i'm at work). the digital cable service is a bit pricey at 75.00 a month, but that gives me digital cable in the bedroom with regular cable all over the house. i figure i'm probably making out on the plus side because i'm no longer paying continual late fees on the dvd's that never seem to make it back to the video store on time. my digital cable box has the built in dvr but it's garbage. i much prefer my good old tivo that we've had for 4 years now in our family room. the only problem with tivo and cable is that the tivo and the cable box have problems communicating for channel changes so i wouldn't recommend using the tivo with a cable box. it works great for cable running directly into the television though. i've thought about using netflix, but i was wondering how much control you have over the movies you get. from what i know about netflix, you have a "want to see" list and they choose for you what comes to you when you return a movie. i could see myself still using the "on demand" movies or the video rental store if i really had an urge to see a specific movie.

Cat, basically what I told him is I wasnt going to jail for either of them. If he didnt get the situation under control I'd kick his ***. If you get my meaning. I will still go get the kids cause all our kids go to the same school so kinda hard not to pick all of them up. Anyway, yeah she could try to have turned it around but there were to many witnesses. So she couldn't. Yeah she is a real piece of work. And yeah she is crazy. He just kept thinking ignoreing her would work untill he finally realized it is not working. So he is stepping up. She called tonight to wish SD a Happy Birthday and Of course wanted to try and tell him you need to do this you need to do that. He told her she needed to act her age and not the kids and he'd go from there. She got mad and hung up. She told him before that she had intended on calling this morning before school ( when I am here) he told her she knows better and left it at that. Yeah I have to watch my self with her she is nothing but a problem. We have a good life together me and DH and all our kids its just she won't let it go. Oh well, All you can do is pray for her and try not to harm her. lol

We recently watched this. It has Christopher Reeve in it. Morning Glory An ex-convict who is on parole is accused of murdering a loose woman in the town where he works. This TV movie was charming. An old and oft-seen story, prone to cliché, it could easily have been embarrassing. However, Riffen and Reeves pull it off. One reviewer found Riffen far too old. I would never have guessed she was 40 when she made this film. It is to her credit as an actress that she played a 23-24 year old amazingly well. I also think it is about the best thing Reeves ever did. The story could have been stronger, and I agree the screen play could have used "tightening." Nonetheless, it is well worth watching; clearly not a powerful love story, but rather, a charming romance which will leave you satisfied that love is a strong emotion and good overcomes evil.
