House plant dropping leaves

| I have a trumpet plant that has only been indoors. At first I had to fight mites so i cut it completely back. It recovered and is growing nice . I recently noticed holes in the leaves in the middle not on the edge, and now large prectly good looking leaves are dropping off. what could it be? |
