That's what puzzles me, I don't see a pdf file listed. I've copied (see below)what I received from my contact. She says that she sends this email to about 50 addresses and I'm the only one that has a problem with it. There is no pdf icon anywhere in the email. Subject: Come 'N Take It newsletter Date: Jan 28, 2010 4:10 PM Sorry it's a little late, but here it is. The second page pertains to our upcoming anniversary dance and a list of ideas and items we will need for the decorations. Thanks y'all and Yellow Rock! Just double click on to the pdf icon and it will open. If you want to print it, just drag it on to your desktop and print from there. Sounds like there is something wrong with what you are trying to download and not an Adobe problem. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader or try the small free Foxit Reader 2.0 for Windows which works well for PDF files. At least you could narrow down the problem whether file or reader.

I purchased the full Adobe Acrobat in 2006 from Adobe, installed & activated it the next day or two. I still use it as it is sufficient for my needs. I don't understand why I get the pop up because I never downloaded or installed a trial version of Acrobat. I forgot to mention that the pop up isn't triggered by every pdf. Don't know why. Will try phone support, but I have my doubts because of what my son told me about his son's new job on a computer help line. "Oh, I don't need to know anything about computers because you type in the question and the computer gives you the answer." (!)
