I think the other important thing that I forgot the mention earlier is that I wait until the moss is just about all the way dry before watering again. I prefer clear pots so I can see whats going on it that pot. You can tell what kind of moisture you have left in there. But I would assume if you are having trouble readily getting moss,you will be hard pressed to find clear pots. One other thing, if all you can find is the garden fungicide try it. See if you can find the 3-1 fungicide and bug control. You can also dust any trimming that you need to do with cinnamon,it has certain beneficial qualities. At some point you'll just have to break down and order your other needs online.

I just copy and paste into a Wordpad .rtf text document and save it in my Garden file text folder with keywords in the title. I keep a separate folder for garden and flower images I save for future reference as well. I can save photos into that, too. I haven't used the clippings. Sometimes I email things to myself, too, and back up my order confirmations and other important emails in gmail by forwarding to myself in that account. I don't download my emails from there, just leave them there.

JB Weld is great stuff. They also have a product called Waterweld which will set even when applied under water, but since you can dry out your can before making the repair, that's probably not necessary. Gorilla Glue is also super and you'll find plenty of other uses for it around the house. Any other epoxy product will work, but epoxy requires mixing and can be a pain to use. A couple tips: Clean the area thoroughly. Take a bit of sandpaper, steel wool, or even that pot scrubber thingy from your kitchen and rough up the surface around the hole. This will help the adhesive stick. Note, though, that if your watering can is galvanized, you don't want to scratch off the zinc coating except where the adhesive is going to go, or it will rust. Read the instructions for the adhesive, particularly about "cure" time. Wait at least the specified time--or even twice that long--before you use the can. Good luck.

Hi Luvs, so glad your computer is up and pleasing you! It has been very hot here, and no rain of any conseq. for a month. The weeds grow..well, like WEEDS. So I have been doing a lot of yard work. The hydrangea are all bloomed and lots of lilies too.. Sunday we were gone all day for a Christening , over an hour away. Yesterday i went for lunch with a friend, hit Pottery Barn Wm SOnoma, and Home Goods. Just some more naps at 70 off at WmSonoma, nothing on sale at Home Goods.. I had Corelle for years in our summer cottage and loved the ease of it. No dishwasher, so they were easy to wash and stack, like you said. They have so many pretty patterns now too. Mine, still have them packed away, were white with a double yellow band...Never broke one! Hope everyone is staying cool!
