Suzanne, can you clarify exactly what you are asking? Are you asking to exchange your miniflora certs for miniflora certs in the previous style? If so, that will be a problem since the miniflora certs were never printed in the previous style and doing so just for this would be quite expensive. If that is the point of your question, I'm afraid the answer is that it can't be done. If you are asking to exchange them for the new style that comes out of our committee work, that might be possible, but no one knows what the new ones will look like and you might not like them either. Let's wait to see what they look like and then decide if we will make any exchanges. Phil

Howard, From what I understand, the ARS Board did not approve Mini-Flora Queen, King, and Princess Certificates. Ben Williams offered to sponsor them, but ARS only approved a Best Mini-Flora Certificate. So Mr. Williams withdrew his sponsorship and the certificates never were produced. Personally, I believe that the floribundas deserve Q-K-P certificates before any are produced for the new mini-flora class. However, I would like to see a certificate for Best Mini-Flora Bloom. Some of the rose shows in Southern California are already separating the Mini-Floras from the Minis, and I plan to do so at the October Santa Clarita rose show, since I am writing the show schedule.

I'm a dog trainer and I still take my dog to classes with other instructors. Figure if I have to pay someone else to train me, I'll work my dog. I do a lot of work on my own, but putting out money is a bigger incentive. Plus we bounce ideas off each other on what method works the best. "You quit training your dog the day after she dies."
