Sandy, I have some multiplier onions, small white bulb onions, shallots, giant garlic, might even have some of your wants in my yard. Need to take a closer look. If you are interested in any of these, I am sure we can make a trade. I just don't have a list prepared right now, and really don't know the names of alot of what I do have. Often people who have large clumps of bamboo would be happy to get rid of some of it. I have gotten any number of divisions that way. I suggest you consider this a character-building exercise, work up your courage, and ask. What's the worst that can happen...they'll say no? You are going to have much more success digging up a division of a local bamboo that you know can survive in your area than asking for people to send you cuttings. It can be difficult to grow bamboo from rhizome cuttings, and, even if you succeed, it will be a number of years before you have a decent size plant. Alternatively, you can take out an ad in your local paper offering free rmeoval of bamboo from people's yards.

In the master I'm going to have a mosaic I will have done of some scene in Oregon, in DD's bath I have framed vintage ads, one for Ivory soap and one for Kohler, waiting for her. (sorry no pics--although I will tell you that if you use a vintage print ad and you have any natural light, make *sure* to use UV-protective glass, because daylight will fade it *fast*). In our public bath we have a Hiroshige of a harbor waiting for us to redo the room--it was my mother's and I have kept the very mid-century (not my style mid-century, but hers) matting and framing out of honor to her.
