Well, maybe, Jim. Someone emailed this morning to thank me and tell me they thought the audience was really 'engaged.' Otoh, I also volunteered to design a flyer for the rose show for this person so it's entirely possible they are just buttering my bread. The slide show lasted about 45 minutes; there was some oohing and aahing over the pictures and people were tickled that the polyantha pictures were from gardens in so many places around the US. I think people were interested to hear how floribundas developed and what a polyantha is. To some I think it was a shock to hear that roses existed prior to the arrival of box stores. One sweet guy, a WW2 veteran, was really taken with 'Verdun' and its appearance in 1918. He enjoyed telling me a story or two about the city of Verdun and its importance in WWI. His wife won one of the polys and I was glad about that. I think I'll root a cutting of that rose for him. It really seemed to me though that the people most interested in the polys were also the ones that were most taken by the vase of very fragrant once bloomers I'd also brought. I think I'll root some polys and donate them to the club plant sales and see if anyone buys them. My open garden is in a few weeks; maybe some will come to it and ask about them then. I thought about Pam's suggestion that people take the cuttings and root them. I almost mentioned it, but I don't think anyone roots anything because they mostly only know roses as grafted. Maybe over time they'll become interested in antique roses. I have another opportunity in October to do another program; maybe I'll do it on the history of roses. I really enjoy putting the talks together so I'll have fun with it and they get cheap entertainment. Gean

I sure came to the right place. Thanks to all of you. Each reply was different, but either would have probably worked.I did the easiest thing for me and that was to pull the plugs on the printer and scanner, reboot and uninstall the software, even after a stern warning that I would be doing irreversible damage. Then I turned the computer back on and tried the scanner and printer. Both work fine, so far. I may have done damage that has not shown up yet. If I have a problem I may try the system restore feature. I had forgotten I even had that. Have had this computer for about 3 years and never tried the system restore.Thanks again!! Ida

The MOPyfish software was originally released in 1997 and is no longer available for download. There is no support available for this product. it looks like there are some exe files available on this site. the mopyfish page mopyfish frequently asked questions answers a lot of related questions however for the supported systems it only lists Win 95, 98, NT try doing a google search for MOPy fish and you can find more info but it is all very old.

Thanks for the response. Nothing is checked and everytime I try to check anything it will not stay checked. This program is totally messed up for some reason. Gallery will not work at all. I deleted all of my pictures and reloaded the 2 memory cards I have. They did load pretty much in the order I took them but some still I have to look for. At least it didn't sort them the way "it" wants too. BUT Now I can't plug the camera in to load pics, it will only let me load by putting the memory card in the tower. It was always so easy to just plug it in before. Now that feature is messed up too. Another thing, it use to show pictures full screen and now it only shows them about 90% of the screen. I can enlarge to full screen but it has to be done on each pic I look at. Before they all were full screen without doing anything. Soooo frustrating! I don't know what happened to make this program work so bad. No kids or anybody messes with this computer but me. Thanks for your help. Nancy
